Mongolia has temporarily suspended the issuance and transfer of mineral exploration licences until the government can enact a stricter law on mining investment.
The president noted that almost half the exploration licence holders have neglected their duty to provide annual exploration reports, while many are only using the permits as money making tools and not investing in any active exploration at all.
The freeze on new mining permits will remain in place until a law on mineral licences is adopted by the government, according to the directive.

Previously known as Companhia Vale do Rio Doce (CVRD for short), Vale, the largest of the top three iron ore producers in the world, visited Shengnuo Group on May 22, 2009 for detailed discussions of both manufacture technologies and the applications of PC series Vacuum Ceramic Disc Filters.
Composed of three engineers from Brazil, one Asia & Pacific regional procurement manager, and one senior analyst from Vale’s Shanghai Office, the delegates visited Dagushan Beneficiation Plant of Ansteel for deeper understandings of the applications of PC series VCFs. The Beneficiation Plant is one of our customers where PC series Vacuum Ceramic Filters have been used successfully for 4 years and millions of RMB saved on operational expenditures through using of our Vacuum Ceramic Filters.
A special team of reception from Shengnuo Group welcomed the Vale delegates. The advantages of Vacuum Ceramic Disc Filters
The most significant feature of Vacuum Ceramic Disc Filter is to use ceramic material as the filtering media instead of using filter cloth. The external layer of ceramic plate is microporous membrane, internal is supporting bases and water path with bigger pore diameter, and the sizes of ceramic membranes micropores can reach around 1μm. 1 Structure and characters introduction of Magnetic Liners:
The Magnetic Liner is formed by 3 parts named metal shell?Apermanent-magnetic body and elastic glue layer.
The metal shell is the main part of Magnetic Liner; its function is to protect magnetic blocks from direct impact of external force and it has enough mechanical strength and magnetoconductivity, while the surface of the shell must to have strong magnetic induction intensity. As the protection shell high alloy magnetic steel requires hardness HB=250, tensile strength b=700N/mm2, yielding pointδs=400N/mm2, shrinkage rateΦ=495, impact strength a≥50J/cm2. The tube liners are assembled standard cases with a outer specification L295mm×W160mm×H55mm and cover liners are assembled circular sector cases which determined by mill diameter.
The permanent-magnetic body is the core part of liners; it makes metal shell stick to the ball mill tube and to form a 20-30 mm protection layer which made by broken steel balls and magnetic ore powder.
The elastic glue layer is by using special elastic agglomerant epoxy resin to paste magnetic blocks onto metal shell tightly, due to better flexibility but also plays a buffer of materials & steel ball and magnetic blocks impact.
2. Magnetic field structure of Magnetic Liner
Magnetic Liner relied on its own magnetoc power?Afiled intensity and direction to form a natural wave peak, wave trough absorbs magnetic material. Single piece liner’s surface intensity is 75mT, spot of 20mm from the surface is 30mT, and spot of 40mm from the surface is 15mT. When all magnetic liners are installed, characters of magnetic field have been changed, the surface field intensity is 100mT, and spot of 10mm from the surface is 82mT, while the spot of 50 mm from surface is 85mT. 3. Working principles of Magnetic Liner
Small and broken balls with magnetic ore powder form a protection layer and absorb onto the surface of Magnetic Liner. The layer is loose at first, about 3 month later, scrap iron and broken balls will replace small balls and iron powder to form a hard permanent protection layer, and according to magnetic circuit to form sine ware crest and trough. With the operation of ball mill, magnetic material?Aworn media powder?Asmall and broken balls will replenish damaged layer continuously, consequently make the layer stays in a dynamic equilibrium status to protect main body of Magnetic Liner repeatedly.
4. Advantages of the Magnetic Liner
4.1 Magnetic Liner’s performance price ratio is higher than High Manganese Steel Liner; it could reduce the produce cost obviously.
4.2 Magnetic Liners have the advantages of small size, light weight, easy to install, and do not leak any ore slurry and it’s not necessary to use the bolt. It’s not only could reduce the labor intensity but also could put an end to personal injury and death. The most important point is that it could improve the work efficiency about 1.08%.
4.3 Compare with the High Manganese Steel Liner, the weight of Magnetic Liner is lighter about 43.51%, it could reduce the power consumption and save electricity about 7.41%.
4.4 Long service life, generally, if the Magnetic Liners are used on the iron ore, the service life could be 8 to 12 years, average is 10 years. If it used on the non-ferrous mining, the service life could be 4 to 6 years, average is 5 years.
4.5 It could reduce the consumption of grinding medium and could save the amount of steel ball about 10.17%.
4.6 Design of Magnetic Liner’s magnetic circuit is reasonable, it’s not necessary to set off magnetic equipment since the liners have non-magnetic phenomena to the ore slurry.
5. The installation of Magnetic Liner
The magnetic field formation of Magnetic Liner is open magnetic system; Magnetic Liners are alternatively located on mill circumference with N-S-N-S order. The screw holes must be gagged first when liners are installed to avoid leakage of slurry. After the tube intine washed clearly by clean water, take up liner genteelly by avoiding collide to each other, and then stick exposed side of liner to the tube intine. Keep the metal shell face to the opposite side of intine then it will be absorbed onto mill tube intine by magnetic force, and then arrange liners orderly, tap with mallet tenderly to make sure that there is no space between them. To install cover liners first and then install tube liners, use tube liner squeeze cover liner in order to maintain fastness. For the ball mill which process the weak magnetic or nonmagnetic material, after the installation of magnetic liner, it should put some scrap iron or other magnetic materials to form a about 20mm protect-layer for the ball mill, and it should be checked periodically and supplement on time.
6. Application area
6.1 The magnetic liner is widely used in the strong and middle magnetic materials. Such as: magnetite, ilmenite and martite.
6.2 It also could be used on the weak magnetic materials or the nonmagnetic materials under some conditions. Such as: hematite, cooper, lead zinc and gold and so on.
6.3 It’s suitable for the grinding process in which the diameter of the steel ball is less than 70 mm and if using the steel rod balls instead, the effect will be better.
7. Servicycle of Magnetic Liner
Because of the special structure and characters and combine our years experience of produce and supply the service of magnetic liners, the servicycle of magnetic liners which used in strong or middle magnetic materials is about 8 to 12 years, and used in the weak or non magnetic materials, under the appropriate operation, the service life will be 4 to 6 years.
8. Routing maintenance of magnetic liner
8.1 The worker should check magnetic liner’s service behavior in every working day, if the worker hears some abnormal sound or finds some fragment magnetic block, he should stop the ball mill and check the magnetic liners immediately.
8.2 The worker should enter the ball mill ever month to check the abrasion grade of the magnetic liner and the form situation of the protect layer. If people found any problem, they should solve it in time.
8.3 For processing the weak or non magnetic materials, when workers check the magnetic liners every month, they should complement the magnetic materials in time, and if found any abrasion of the shell and lead to the break up or the bareness of the magnetic block, the worker should replace the magnetic liners in time.

Manufactured by our patented production techniques, the filter plate consists of two cavity-structures that are made of corundum-based materials. The process include raw-material classification, cleaning & selecting, mixing, high-accuracy molding through die stamping, stage-wise high-temperature roasting, repetitious painting of function layer, cleaning & choosing, finalizing gluing, performance testing, packing and placing in storehouse. Repetitious roasting and layer-after-layer painting are adopted. Features and Applications: The ceramic filtering plates produced by our plant have been proved as successful in many beneficiation plants treating ores of copper, lead, zinc, iron, silver, sulfur, gold etc. The filtering plates are of high strength, easy to be cleaned for restoring of function. The maximum pressure for reverse cleaning reaches 0.3MPa, the level that increases the performance of back cleaning & combined cleaning and raises remarkably the operation indexes of the filter. The service life of the filter exceeds 1 year that saves the investment & operational cost of customer.
